Aaron Barrow has served as the Deputy City Administrator of Public Safety since October of 2025, when his position was expanded from the Assistant City Administrator which he held since May of 2020 for the City of Blair.
A dedicated public servant, he has been with the City of Blair since September 2003. Before stepping into his current role, Mr. Barrow spent 17 years with the Blair Police Department, where he held multiple command positions. Prior to joining the City of Blair and the Blair Police Department, Mr. Barrow served with the City of Montrose, CO, Police Department. He began his law enforcement career as a patrol officer and rose through the ranks to Sergeant before making the move to Blair.
Mr. Barrow is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a Military Police Sergeant before his honorable discharge. He holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration and is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) National Academy. Additionally, he has earned multiple professional certifications, including his Certified Public Manager (CPM) credential from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2012.
