Boat Ramps

The Boat Ramps at Optimists Park were established in 1993. Along with the two boat ramps for access to the Missouri River, the park has two floating docks for temporary mooring, a fish-cleaning station and restrooms. There are two small picnic shelters with grills and a bench swing.

The park and boat ramps can be reached from Highway 30 just west of the Blair Bridge over the Missouri River:

  • Turn north on Marina Road
  • Turn right onto East Fairview Drive just north of the railroad overpass
  • Follow East Fairview Drive to the river

The Blair Optimists Club funded construction of the boat ramps. The park was established in part by a grant from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
