Earlier this year, the Mayor and City Council passed Ordinance No. 2558 and No. 2567 adding an annual fee of $50.00 for UTV Licensing. Please see the attached UTV Guidelines as adopted. If you currently own a UTV and are operating it within city limits, please print off a permit application (located on Clerk Page) and fill it out. Once completed, please take it to the Blair Police Department located at 1730 Lincoln St., to obtain an inspection and have the form signed by an officer.
After the inspection, registration can be completed in person by bringing the form to City Hall, 218 S. 16th St. for payment and to obtain the 2025 UTV sticker that must be visibly displayed on the vehicle at all times during operation. Proof of ownership, a valid driver’s license and insurance documentation are required at the time of registration.
Registrations are required no later than June 30, 2025, to avoid any fines or penalties. In the future, annual registration renewals will be due May 1, and a renewal reminder will be sent to your last known address.
